The Hedge Laying Association of Ireland (HLAI) was founded as a voluntary organisation in 2004 to promote the conservation and appropriate management of hedgerows in Ireland. The HLAI is a member of the Irish Environmental Network. The HLAI have organised and ran demonstration and training events all over the country. The specific aim of this project was to customize a trailer chassis into a dedicated mobile display unit to take to shows, demonstrations and training events. The unit provides a comprehensive multi media display of information on the value of hedgerows. It also contains a small workshop area, which makes it useful for training courses and demonstrations.
