County Leitrim Job Initiative Programme is an employment scheme for unemployed people, funded by FAS. A total of 17 Workers are employed under the scheme in a variety of community settings all over the county. The range of work carried out includes environmental work, upkeep of community buildings, administration to community based projects, contact service with older people and home visit work with Leitrim Lifestart.
