Leitrim Development Company under the Social Inclusion Community Activation Programme is inviting Social Enterprises to submit an Expression of Interest for the targeted call for Strand 3 of the Community Service Programme.

Strand 3 focuses on social enterprises who deliver services that meet a need in the community particularly disadvantaged communities, and who will use the CSP funding contribution to employ staff from specific disadvantaged target groups, which include:

• The Long-term Unemployed;
• Persons in receipt of disability allowance,
• invalidity pension or blind person’s pension;
• Travellers in receipt of jobseeker’s payments or OPF;
• Stabilised and recovering drug misusers;
• People with convictions;
• People who are homeless;
• Immigrants.

This is an open competition and the successful Social Enterprise from Leitrim will be submitted to POBAL for consideration however, there is no guarantee of funding.

An information session for interested groups will be held on Tuesday the 13th of June at 7pm in our office in Church Street, Drumshanbo.
