Volunteers Required: Cyclist for Older People

What's Involved
Brand new and exciting project for Leitrim. Leitrim County Council and the HSE have purchased two 'Triobikes' for older people in Leitrim. One bike will be based at St. Patrick's Hospital in Carrick on Shannon and shared between Aras Carolan in Mohill and Ballinamore Nursing Unit. While the other bike will be based in Aras Breffni in Manorhamilton. Triobikes are electrically assisted bicycles with seating for two older people on the front.

Volunteers will be asked to cycle older people around the local area, for fresh air and social interaction.
