Leitrim Development Company wishes to recruit an Education and Youth Support Worker to cover Maternity Leave. It will be a specified purpose contract for four days per week for 30 weeks commencing in early January 2020.

Duties and responsibilities will include:
-Providing individuals with one-to-one advice and guidance on education, training and career opportunities.
-Supporting the delivery of youth work initiatives including in-school programmes, summer projects and after-school programmes.
-Managing and monitoring budgets relevant to the SICAP actions.

Essential Qualifications and Previous Experience:
-A relevant qualification and or three years’ experience of community development.
-Knowledge of the learning, training and employment opportunities and the range of services/supports available to the target group.
-Ability to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative.
-Access to a car and clean driving licence essential.
