Leitrim Development Company wish to appoint an Employment Specialist for Individual Placement and Support (IPS) in Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP)
Job Summary: The purpose of this post is to provide a recovery focused supported employment service by working with individuals who have experienced first episode psychosis and who wish to gain open competitive employment. The Employment Specialist will work directly with employers to secure employment opportunities and provide ongoing support to both employers and the individuals to retain them in work. This position requires a high level of accountability to employment related outcomes.
Responsible to: Operationally reports to the Leitrim Development Co project lead with clinical support and advice provided by the HSE Occupational Therapist Manager or designated person.
Location: between bases in Drumshanbo and Sligo town covering both counties Leitrim and Sligo.
Position: Fulltime 5 days per week. Work hours will usually be between 9:00 – 13:00 14:00 – 17:00. There will be travel to and work in different locations which requires flexibility. This position is being offered for an initial period of two years and subject to funding thereafter.
