Funding available for tourism facilities, products, services, accommodation and marketing.

*Please note: This open call will be restricted to new or innovative tourism projects/services/facilities/marketing. Only existing tourism accommodation projects will be funded which are diversifying, upgrading and enhancing their existing offerings (no new accommodation permitted, unless it is totally unique and there is no other such accommodation available). These tourism projects should add value to the tourism sector in the county. For tourism marketing, digital / online marketing costs these must be commissioned or managed by a specialist in this area in order to maximise the impact of the marketing activities and in order to ensure ease of procurement etc.

*Projects must also demonstrate that they have a positive impact on the environment/climate change.

This is in line with the Transitional Programme which states that the funding should address supports for rural businesses seeking to reach new markets, expand, innovate and/or diversify in response to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and/or Brexit.

How to Apply?

The submission of an Expression of Interest Form is the first step in applying for LEADER Funding. It is your opportunity for your proposed project to be presented to the Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) who will determine if your project is eligible for funding and if you can advance to the next stage of the Application Process. Please ensure that you read the details set out above. Once you submit your fully complete Expression of Interest Form Leitrim Development Company will contact you to outline if your proposed project is eligible for funding or not and if you can proceed to full Application.
