Is your food business interested in funding for capital items such as machinery or equipment to increase your production quality? Are you interested in marketing your food business? Does your food business require improved marketing, product quality or business skills through collaborative training?

If so, funding is available for artisan, micro and small food producers in County Leitrim. Up to 50% funding is available under the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 LEADER.
Costs that are eligible for funding include;
-Construction or improvement of property
-Purchase of new machinery and equipment
-Investments in computer software and the acquisition of patents, licences, copyrights or trademarks

Projects must be in the areas of (1) market development, (2) competitiveness or (3) innovation

Applicants must be an artisan, micro or small food producer and registered as a food produced with the relevant competent authority.
Minimum funding amount is €5,000 up to a maximum of €200,000.
