This project involved the Installation of a 11kW Photovoltaic System at Glencar TeaShed. This project has gone a long way to meeting the electrical demand of the TeaShed. It has helped to cut down on greenhouse gases and is therefore better for the environment. The staff are briefed on the construction and sustainable aspects of the TeaShed and the adjoining house has participated and opened its doors to the Green Door Inspirational Homes event where sustainable aspects of the building and construction have been explained to visitors by the promoter. Reducing the running costs will help the TeaShed stay open longer during the off season.
